We already know that companies are recruiting via social media so it is not surprising to hear that colleges are using these new sites too. You may be surprised to read the high numbers. Facebook, Twitter and YouTube are the primary places that admissions officers check. Grad students are being vetted this way too. 62% feel that good profiles have helped and 38% feel that bad profiles have hurt the chances of candidates.
